WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

“A fantastic week in such a fabulous home. Accommodation was perfect – the best welcome pack I think we’ve had so far (bread, biscuits, coffee, bacon and more) and also the best views from the garden. Our two children loved the very friendly dogs and the use of the on site tennis court.”

“My family and I had the most wonderful stay at Lilly Hall Hopkiln, we didn’t want to leave! The house is super comfortable and well equipped, and is set in beautiful surroundings. Claire and Ed were very generous with their time, showing us around the stables and providing very quick responses to all my questions. We had use of the pristine tennis court which our two teenage boys loved, we couldn’t keep them off it! There is plenty to do locally but I would happily return and not leave the house and grounds for a week ;-). Thank you Claire and Ed!”

“Everything about the Hopkiln is delightful. Claire has really considered everything. Highlights: Pristine bed linen Board games and cards. The locally sourced food items that were left as a welcome. An abundance of shower gel, toilet paper etc. Really comfy sofa area. A group of four of us stayed for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding at Eastnor Castle (worth a visit), but I would love to go back to explore more of the beautiful surroundings. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay in a quiet, rural location but with restaurants etc a short drive away, this is the place for you. Really charming.”

“Claire and Ed were great hosts. The Hopkiln is beautifully converted. My 85 year old mum really enjoyed the environment, as did we. The top room is in the former kiln tower. Perfect for those who enjoy quality peace and quiet within green surroundings. We all thoroughly enjoyed a tour of the stables – very educational and fascinating. Indoors is very comfortable, the beds with excellent quality pillows, duvet and linen, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Everything is prepared very generously, no sense of skimping or cutting corners at all, fully deserving of five stars across all categories.”

“Great location for the Malvern Hills and Ledbury specifically, but also lots to do further afield. Lovely accommodation with everything you could possibly need. Claire is a very friendly and responsive host. It felt very homely staying here.”

“A beautiful property, fantastic amenities and gorgeously decorated. It felt like a very well cared for home from home. The location is truly magical and it was a very restful stay, just a short distance from lots of fabulous walks, shops and restaurants. Claire was incredibly accommodating given the short notice of the booking and the place was pristine. It felt extremely private but was helpful to know they were nearby should there have been any issues. Cannot recommend the Hopkiln enough!”
